The warnings can be killed from the Security Centre in the Control Panel.
You'll see that (Windows) Firewall Protection is turned off in the security
center, so click on the "Recommendation..." button, and in the
Recommendations window tick "I have a firewall solution that I'll monitor
myself, so fog off." The same is true of the "Virus Protection" entry in
the Security Centre, sort of... First disable your anti-virus, then go to
the Security Centre to stop Windows from monitoring your antivirus software,
then enable the antivirus software.
