I almost never see a computer that is infected by only one virus. If they
had one, they may have more. Doing a virus scan would be a good idea, as
they did not say how they fixed the problem. The patch isn't the fix,
removing the virus is and they did not say whether they removed it or not.
And if they did get infected then most likely they aren't even running av
software, so a online scan would be the place to start.
