Hi,
I also encounter the problem and finally I sucessfully
overcome this problem.
Here is how
1. Make sure all your "temp" environment reside on the
same drive as OS
2. Download the SP2 and run to extract it to a directory
on the same drive as OS
3. Reboot your system in "Safe Mode with NetWork" option
4. Login as "Administrator" user. Not user in
administrator group
5. Run the "update.exe" program reside in the SP2 extract
directory. example, you extract it in c:\sp2 dir, the
program should be in c:\sp2\i386\update\update.exe
6. Run it and reboot system as prompt
7. Must reboot in "Safe Mode with NetWork" option
8. Shut down and reboot as normal
Cheers
A Pham
