My OS just goes back to the same message as per below. It will not got to the
install start up from the CD. It goes into this message no matter what I do.
I tried F8 and got into advanced options menu. No matter which option I try I
wind up back in the > > missing file in Windows\system 32\config\System. Also
tried making a XP boot disk on anyther machine after loading this XP version
on a new drive. I then tired in the corrupt machine with same results. If it
makes a difference I was installing a HP point driver when the system shuit
off. I tried the MS way of fixing it but can not seem to change the drive
from A to C so I can not even reinstall the XP OS from CD.
