I have been using xp for 18 months and recently started
receiving the following error messages on start up:

ipkk.exe has encountered a problem and has to shut down
(or however it says it) and

ieon.exe has encountered a problem...

Usually I have to close these several times and
downloading the service pack made it so that I had to
close them many times and almost froze up my machine so I
removed the service pack.

Are these XP items and what are they for? I can't find
any info on this.
