Yes, this is normal when a Server is promoted a Domain Controller, it is
simply, replicating your identification across the network, especially if
you have other Domains and Servers on the Network and also applying specific
security policies before you log on to network.
Also check the minimum bandwidth available to users on the network. 10, 100,
mb.
