I purchased a refurbished pc (Dell 500mhz Pent III) and
then installed XP Home Edition (OEM purchased on the net
elsewhere). Everything seemed to work fine except very
slowly and some graphics seemed to jump. So I added some
RAM and a modem. Now nothing........blank screen with a
bar at the bottom as if something is attempting to load.
I tried using the original XP setup disk but I get a
message that the setup file cannot be found. So now what?
XP was not cheap and I don't want to have to purchase
another OS and suggestions?
