Windows XP only needs to be activated once unless you reinstall. But to avoid
having to reactivate either over the phone or through the internet just copy
the wpa.dbl file found in your windows\system32 folder to a floppy disk and
then once you reinstall simply copy it from the floppy to the
windows\system32 . wpa.dbl is the product activation and is a heavily
encrypted file containing all of your system info. {:~)
