But I've been there and done that.
And as you say, NT to Home is not qualifed.
(Do you have any idea what a effort it would take a working dad to get established on ebay, paypal, and the risk?)
Do you have kids on a computer?
Their demands easily meet or exceed any thing the coding guru's can through at them.
And yes, a family needs the security and networking ease more than ever.
A $100 is not worht the hassle of Home's lacking.
And the emotional cost and time is not worth it.
Plus, the dad, can remote to the PC and fix it, reboot it, change security.
I wouldn't use Home if I got it free.
But we all learn at our own pace. :)
