I was referring to options primarily related to the
firewall. I look at a firewall and anti-virus as a
package, I don't see the point of having one without the
other. I like to 'see' what is going on. Norton gave me
a lot of options for looking at what is going on with my
network. McAfee works great, but seems a little to
general and automatic. I know that sounds funny, most
people like automatic and hands-off. I prefer to get in
there and configure things myself. Of course, I would
probabaly have less problems if I quit tweaking things
all the time...lol.
I too I never gotten a virus since using McAfee, I can't
say that for Norton; however I have never had any damage
related to a virus from using either product.
