So you replaced the 64MB stick with the 256?

You didn't answer my question: where are you seeing that it
recognizes it only as 128MB? If it's in System Information,
there's a known bug that sometimes disregards one RAM stick. That
could cause it to be reported as 256MB total.

Right-click on My Computer and choose Properties. Does it say
384MB there? If so, everything is fine. Just disregard what
System Information says; it's just a cosmetic error.
