Andy,
It's a 120Gb seagate IDE, Bios auto detects, it can be seen, formatted, read write when set up as a Slave. The install as master goes fine,ie partition, formatt, file copy. But loops through these steps again when auto reboot occurs.... I've removed all peripheral devices (Network card, DVD player, Sound, USB's devices unplugged) left just the Graphics Card. Still looping. Jumper is set correctly for master. New Ribbon Cable works fine for old drive and new drive in Slave mode. Have tried plugging into middle and end plug on Ribbon (Should be end plug for master I understand)
