Hi Mike:
The problem is you're using the web interface to access these groups.
As such, you really do not have many options and as you have found
out, it's difficult to use. Also, difficult to keep up with a thread.
Suggest you learn how to use the newsgroup reader that's included with
your copy of Outlook Express. With OE, you will be able to keep up
with threads, start a new one, reply to others, etc.
Point OE to the following newsgroup server address:
msnews.microsoft.com
Once you have done that, you can download a listing of all the groups
that are on the MS server. Then all you have to do is subscribe to
the ones you wish. OE has a good help file which should additionally
assist you in setting it up. Regards.

I did this and then found I had none of my programme files and none of my documents. I see by right clicking on my computer they are there and I have saved my documents and some programmes such as Pest Conrtol. However if I try and open Norton, AOL, Incredimail or any of my Microsoft Office programes I get the following ALEDRTAST.EXE Unable to locate component MSVCP70.dll. This application has failed to start because MSVCP70.dll was not found. Is there anyway around this?
