I've been seeing this a lot lately with XP and it
happened to me a few weeks ago, get to your DOS prompt,
by following these instructions:
Get into the MS-DOS prompt by using either a standard MS-
DOS boot diskette or the ECU diskettes created after the
installation of Windows NT, or boot from the Windows XP
CD.
Once there type "chkdsk" (with no quotes), you will run
check disk, this might clear misallocated files that are
causing the issue and self repair them.

it started to run like normal, then it came up with a
screen that had these 5 options...

to the log in page or to the desktop. This error message
just kept reappearing until the timer ran out and then,
it would do it over and over.

have had this happen on my parents computer before but,
usually if was fixable just by selecting option 5....why
can't I fix this one?
