Interesting 'Right Click' Issue

OK I have run across an issue that I can't find any info
on. Just recently this issue has developed.

When I Right Click on a video file (avi mpg wmf, etc) any
video file at all - my screen will flicker to black then
come back up with the right click menu as if nothing
happened - flicker is less then or right at a second in
duration

It only happens on video files -

Running XP Pro on a 2500+ Athlon Pro with 512

Have updated my GForce drivers, done all the scanning and
system maintenance - I can't pinpoint the cause as yet.

    ... The flicker does not appear in Windows ... the end user needs the video file to display within ... PowerPoint, so will not be in a position to run a file in WMP. ...
