Windows XP shutdown problem

Have an IBM AS400 at office and use Netsoft software for
all employees. It works fine on Win 98 computers but
shutdown problems occur with Win XP, hangs when restarting
or shut down. We know the software is the cause but can't
use the AS400 without it. Is there a patch or upgrade
available that might fix this problem?
