Does the issue occur in Safe Mode? If it doesn't, then try reinstalling
your mouse/touchpad drivers. Since this is a laptop, you can't test the
keyboard with the simple way of swapping it out with a different one.
One way to determine if you have hardware or software (Windows
operating system ) issues is to boot with Knoppix, a Linux distro that
runs from cd. If you still have keyboard/mouse problems in Linux, then
you know your hardware is bad and you'll need to contact the laptop
mftr. for tech support.
