Typing Problem..plz help!!

My mouse has been quite *crazy* these days..sometimes while I was using it,
suddenly the arrow just move around, jumping to places when i try to move
the mouse. Usually after that, I cannot type anything, like when I try to type,
weird characters appear instead of the normal words. The other day, it happened
again, so I restart my laptop (before when it happen I alway restart window and
everything came back to normal), but this time when the welcome screen came
up and I click the user name to type the password. Strangely when i tried to
type, nothing appear in the password box. Does that mean the keyboard have
problem, or is that the hard drive (or whatever else)'s problem?
So you see, because I can't type, so I can't enter the password to login the
laptop, that's why I can't figure out what is the real problem.
If anyone have informations or solutions on how to solve this problem, please
reply asap..tq
