XP needs a firewall before you go on-line to get the updates
and patches, but XP has a firewall that does the job. It is
offered to be turned on when you create the Internet
connection with the wizard.
XP is very good, much better than the old DOS based Windows.
Except for hardware failure, the BSOD is almost unheard of,
this computer has never had one in two years of operation.
