What do you mean "save"? A taskbar doesn't have any place to save data.
Do you mean that Quick Launch is disappearing? If so, look under "Q" on
MVP Kelly's excellent site, here:

Make sure you are running a current antivirus with updated definitions
and have scanned for spyware as a matter of routine maintenance.
