Set up a My Computer window in the way you want as default; View menu
settings like that and the tool bar and Status bar ones; columns you was
available in Details, size and position of window

Then go to its Tools - Folder Options - View, make sure that 'remember
each folder's view settings is checked, and click the 'Apply to All' at
the top
