I learned years ago the first time I lost data in a WP crash to save my
work every few minutes. Created a keyboard macro to do it easly by
keystrokes instead of needing to use the mouse. Saved me lots of times.
I have never seen a WP that doesn't crash when you least want it to.
The best bet is protect yourself with frequent saves, expecially since
your system is so unstable.
