When the shutdown message appears:

click Start > Run, and
enter "shutdown -a" when the
next RPC countdown begins.

This will halt the shutdown. This will give you the chance to download
the appropriate patch(es) from the windows update site or elsewhere to
solve the problem. Which one you have depends on the exact error
message given. Write it down verbatim and repost.

You are infected with either the MS Blaster or Sasser work or variants.
  This happened from going online without having updated the system
through windows update and not using a firewall.
