That is not a *.rar file. It is an *.exe. It's probably "in use" because
it is running. Run a virus scan with up to date definitions.

even tried using norton but that didn't work either. tried safe mode, tried rebooting and then deleting it right away in safe mode
and other, tried renaming it. The file is doom_iii.rar.exe if anyone has anymore suggestions please let me know, thanks again.

properties and that doesn't tell me anything. I tried rebooting and then deleting it right away but that didn't work. Does anybody
know what to do? Thank you.
