I am using Diskkeeper lite on WinXP Pro. I keep getting messages telling me
that the OS is reporting faults (I've narrowed it down to C:) and that
Chkdsk will run on the next reboot. However, when I reboot it tells me that
it cannot perform the funtion and just boots normally. I have tried running
it from a command prompt and in safe mode but I just get the same messages.
I use the following command: chkdsk/f. What am I doing wrong?

My setup is 2 hard drives 1) C: contains the operating system and is
formatted NTFS. 2) D: & E: partitions roughly 50% each - D: formatted NTFS
and E: used as a backup to E: formatted FAT32.
Thanks
Tony
