I've been attempting to setup a new PC with XP Pro SP 1A onto a network that has a Linksys cable router & a PC with Win98SE. Everytime I attempt to use wizard under XP, it encounters an error.
Spooler SubSystem App has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

The end result is that the workgroup name never sticks. I have same user acct/password on both PCs. I've run wizard fro XP CD on Win98 PC w/o problems
Any help appreciated.
