I'm guessing at one time the "don't show this message again" box was checked
when the prompt to store username/password information was received. To
turn this prompt back on, go to Tools > Internet Options, then click the
Content tab. You will see a section labeled AutoComplete down towards the
bottom - click the button. In the window that comes up, click the "User
names and passwords on forms" button to turn on this feature; if you would
like to receive a prompt, click the "Prompt me to save passwords" box. HTH.
