Hi,

right click on desktop and click Properties > click on Settings tab and then
click Advanced > in a new windows that opens select Monitor tab and change
"Screen refresh rate:" from 60 (default) to something higher that your
monitor will support (e.g. 75, 85, ...)

If you can't do this, then you have to first install video drivers for your
graphic card. You should be able to download them from your manufactures web
site. I guess you can check what graphic card you have on the other Windows
XP installation that you have on your PC.
