Rejections by Outlook Express.

I am having attachments to e-mails - either from me ot to me - rejected with the following message.
"O.E. removed access to the followingunsafe attachments in your mail. "
I have limited knowledge so I moved the slider on Outlook Express /Internet Options/Privacy to Low from Medium but this has made no difference.
My Anti Virus is AVG (Freeware) and I am using V6 of OE / IE.

Can someone out there offer me a solution?
