Hi all

About 5 days ago, my original hard disk was sometimes not
booting XP properly - it would pause during the loading
bar sequence (left to right), but when it did boot
successfully I could access everything including my
documents, etc.

I have since bought a new hard disk and re-installed
Windows XP from scratch. This new hard disk is a Samsung
80GB SATA drive.

When I try to import my emails from outlook express on my
old drive, it says access denied. I tried access
my "Rodney" folder from Documents and settings on the old
hard disk, but again it says access denied.

Also, none of my old DOC files appear on the old hard
disk, yet it has not been formatted. They are still
there, but even searching will not show them.

How can I retrieve all my documents from my old hard disk
and access/import my emails from outlook express on the
old drive to the new drive?

I hope someone can help me.
