Renewing IP address failed.

I lost my internet connection (DSL) suddenly. I tried to
repair my connection. It asked me to renew my IP address.
I used IP config /release and IP config /renew, but they
didn't work. I tried everything turning off modem and
turning on.I checked device manager. I updated drivers.
I believe there is some problem with DHCP server. Please
help me out.
