If that's the only problem your having with internet explorer, reinstalling
windows xp is overkill. If IE is working correctly on everything else, just
try another online virus scan site. There are a few different ones.
You could also try to repair internet explorer:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;318378
You will not be able to use the dell product key with any other cd than one
supplied with the computer by dell. If you really want to reinstall xp then
use the cd and product key supplied by dell. Just pop it in (or boot to it)
and follow the directions. But I'd try to fix IE, if needed, first.
