A few weeks ago I got some great help here, and I hope to
again. I am running XP at home, and last time, I had my
hosts file hijacked. I cleaned up my system and
everything ran great until a couple of days ago. Now,
after I have been running for awhile, I lose the ability
to connect to the internet or to emulators for other
systems, and I get buried in pop-ups.
I have run the following programs to try and find the
problem: CWShredder, The Cleaner, Ad-aware 6.0, and
Spybot Search and Destroy, and I have checked my hosts
file to make sure all is well. I also installed Service
Pack 1 to make sure all security issues are up to date.
Anyone have an idea of what I'be got?
