Formatted disk, installed win xp pro, floppy does not appear in my
computer. Device manager shows 2 floppy drives, both with a big ! next
to them. Right click>disable removes both drives, but now the drive
doesen't work at all, both disappear from device manager and there's
still no icon in my computer. Right click>uninstall removes one of
them, and then the floppy shows up in my computer and works normally.
Restart and the problem comes back. CMOS settings don't seem to
matter, i enable A, disable B, get the same result. Also does about
the same thing under Win 2k. Running on a Gateway sel-366
