go to the Iomega site and see if there is a knowledgebase article on the
problem. Many times all you will need is a USB 2.0 driver for the unit. Many
of the computers that ship don't have the correct driver installed or it was
not done correctly. A good place to get USB help is http://www.usbman.com
they also have a group to answer and assist. I would say the system may have
a faulty USB port(s) and that may not be fixable unless the unit is
repaired.
