OK. I seem to have it cleared up.
As an FYI, here is what I did.
In my case I needed to install a second Windows so I could get into
XP.
My problem surfaced after running Ad Aware to remove BlazeFind.
I reran Ad Aware from the new XP install and restored the Quarentine
entries. I then rebooted and was now able to logon to my original XP.
Now for removal part II.
This time to remove BlazeFind I went to
http://www.blazefind.com/index.php?section=help-bar and ran removal
from there.
After rebooting the system, I reran Ad-Aware. It still found some
BlazeFind entries but not nearly as many as the first time I removed
them. I quarentined and then deleted those entries. Reboot the
computer, crossed my fingers and viola! everything appeared to work.
Hope this helps someone else. Thanks to those who offered input.
