That is very, very wrong. Having a dynamic IP address offers
absolutely *NO* protection from worms such as Blaster, Welchia, and
Sasser. A firewall is sill essential. Even 3 years ago, back when I
was using a dial-up connection, and getting a different IP each time I
connected, I had to turn off ZoneAlarm's notifications because I was
getting hit by so many random IP scans that the notices became quite
annoying.
