First of all, you didn't quote any of the original post, so I asked you
nicely to please do this in future. Secondly, the original poster
didn't say anything about his motherboard brand, flashing a BIOS, or
anything that would lead you to believe flashing was indicated. Here's
his whole post:
"hi sometimes my computer xp wont boot up...on amd off switch dosent
work at that moment...i have to turn of at the mains...and try
again...then its ok for a while...this happens may be 1 out 5 times??"
So, I'm sorry your feelings were hurt, but again, this is a classic case
of failing hardware - probably the power supply, but there isn't enough
information in the original post to be more specific.
