Hexagons, squares, oblique lines, question marks etc? Ask me how I know!
I get this problem intermittently and have asked Q's in these pages or New Users pages with no real answers forthcoming. See also a post today by Mike. Page 3 at time of writing if you're using the web interface.
Surely some of our experts can shed light on this.
The only way I got round it was to do a system restore. At one point it got so bad that I had taken to having the system restore icon on my desktop because I could barely find it on the programs menu through all the jumbled text. Using SR is treating the symptom rather than the cause but at least it worked!
