IE shuts down

Almost every time I start up ie it seems to close itself down and I have to keep restarting the program. I have recently joined Wanadoo broadband and my (XP Home) compuer is on a network with one other computer running Windows XP pro, please help me resolve this issue. The windows XP Home computer is brand new and I am encountering problems already... Please help
