The CD1 of the set for Image for Windows wasn't booting up because I had it
in the wrong drive. <blush> It goes in my DVD Drive and not the CD
rewriteable drive.
FYI: There IS a way to check the disk after making the backup with Image
for Windows and NOT restore. There is an opportunity to say NO to "Are you
sure You want to restore."
As far as the Bios, I won't change anything but did learn where the
instructions flash by in about 2 seconds. When I boot up and see the big
GATEWAY image, at the bottom it says to use the TAB key and moves by so fast
I had to do this three times to get the word! . Hope this helps someone
know how to get into those settings if you have need to. And all of you who
said computers have different ways to get in there are totally correct!
Thanks for the responses; I learned a lot! And my Image back up will
restore if I put it in the right drive: the DVD drive for my computer.
