It does; but the card may have pushed things over the edge if you made
earlier changes, and also it can arise if the activation database files
on the machine get damaged. There can be difficulty in contacting the
server if you do it at boot; or let it try to establish the connection.
Get on the net first, then go to
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Activate Windows
