sympatico internet explorer

hi, I am running windows xp pro with internet explorer 6. when i open IE it automatically goes to sympatico msn - when in the past it always went to msn. I do not use sympatico and have no sympatico software on my computer. I have gone into properties in IE and changed it to msn .com and my usual page comes up(regular msn IE homepage) my problem is that when i go back into IE it comes up sympatico msn again:( and the contents of the page are not the way i set them up for the homepage -my question is how do i change it permanently to the regular msn homepge and keep it this way? thanx in advance for any tips.
