The boot.ini file must still have the path to your second hard drive.
For simplicity what you can do is as follows:
1/ Go to control panel
2/ click thje System icon
3/ In the system properties window click the Advanced Tab
4/ Look near the bottom of the window and you will see a section marked
Startup and recovery. Click the Settings button in this section.
5/ When the setup and recovery window opens change the 'time to display list
of operating systems to 0 (zero) rather than 30 seconds
6/ Make sure the operating system you want to boot from is displayed in the
default operating system box
7/ click OK
8/ in th enext window click ok to exit
9/ when you next reboot your pc the pc should boot sraight to the windows xo
desktop and you shouldn't see the menu.
10/ Alternatively you could edit the boot ini file to remove the second
operating system. But unless you know what you are doing the instructions
above are probably the safest.
