I have a xp machine which was, and still is working
great. However all of a sudden after a hard reboot
several icons on my desktop (my computer, recycle bin...)
and all of my quick launch icons are messed up. The icons
stated above have a white background as do the icons in
the taskbar. Other icons on the desktop are ok.
I have;
1. Rebooted :). same problem
2. Changed icon to a different one and then changed it
back. sp
3. Resized the desktop and changed it back. sp
4. Searched the entire internet for an answer but can't
find one.

Any ideas?
