Hi to All,

I have a problem with the long response, when starting
Properties of c: (and all other drives) in Explorer. The
response time is about +20seconds. There is Novell client
software on the workstation (Windows XP Professional
&SP1& all hotfixes). When I remove the Novell client,
the response time is a fraction of "normal" response.
Workstations are members of Windows 2003 Active
Directory. The name resolution is restricted to the FQDN
(DNS and no WINS is on the system,NetBIOS over TCP/IP
is disabled ). Out of domain servers (UNIX and Novell
are included in the host file.

Can someone explain the problem?

Regards,
Milos
