Hi
Depending on what kind of XP CD you have, yes you can boot into 'DOS' and
use 'format C:' - boot with a Win ME/98 EBD select 'With CD support', then
format. Put the XP CD into the cd drive, change to the i386 folder and run
winnt.exe. Don't forget to load Smartdrive before the installation,
otherwise it will take hours.
**Please make sure that you have the appropriate XP CD beforehand. You need
either a full retail version or a retail 'upgrade' version with the
appropriate qualifying CD from a previous version of Windows. If you have
an OEM CD, I don't doubt this may not work. You will have to check
beforehand.**
