Missing file

User just did a MS update on her computer. Not sure which
updates it did. When she tries to boot she get the
following message. "Windows could not start because the
following file is missing or corrupt:" "\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32
\CONFIG\SYSTEM" I have booted from the orginal CD and I
can see the file there. I am guessing that it is corrupt.
How can I replace or fix this file? Or is there something
else I should be doing?
