I upgraded to xp from 98SE. It's been working for
years. All of sudden when I close the lid nothing
happens. It should go into standby.

When looking at power options menu the advanced tab DOES
NOT have an option for me to choose for the system to go
into standby.

I looked at another computer that i upgraded and it
doesn't have that choice either.

I can't figure out where to go to make this work again.
