Windows XP Home edition doesn't recognize JVC camcorder

external Firewire hard drive not being recognized by
winxp. Then one day they both were recognized. I don't
know if it was because of all the Winxp updates, or what.
Did you check your firewall settings just incase it is
preventing access? I don't really know why they work now,
just grateful.
